with only five tables in the midst of a bright room, surrounded by walls of glass that reflect the park of the historical Grand Hotel Toblach. Far away from traffic and noise…
That is where Michelin-starred chef Chris Oberhammer enchants his customers.
Over the years, he has become a Tilia himself: consistency and flavorful harmony playing with the aromas mark his handwriting. Nobody else is able to get to the heart of a flavor that clearly. His success is found in his ambition of the past 15 years… with consistency… hospitality…

Perfection of the senses
We always look for the unbridled colors and shapes: brown like savory cinnamon, red like sweet strawberries, green like fresh parsley – or the waves of boiling water. As cook I’m trying to enchant the guests in my restaurant with culinary and visual delights.
My education, all these years in France characterized me the most. I learned how to combine the convenience of the Côte d’Azur and the vitality of the people there with my meals, which I use mainly local and pure ingredients for.
Now I returned to the place I had left to discover the wide world. My work has showed me that good products do not need adornments if you respectfully prepare and serve them.
The time you spend in our restaurant should become a special experience to you, as well as the relationship between our guests and ourselves. We are here to surprise you.

The Tilias is open from Tuesdays to Sunday, except company holidays.
Our booking site offers reservations for up to four persons for lunch and dinner. If you require a table for five or more persons or if your preferred date is unavailable, please contact us by phone or by e-mail.
